Biography
Adina Stoye brings over 10 years of international education expertise and a deep passion for supporting students' global learning journeys to her role as Center Director. Her international education journey began with going abroad herself, as an Au Pair to the USA.
She holds a Master in Educational Science and having lived and worked across Germany and New Zealand, Adina understands firsthand of the transformative power of overseas experiences and the unique challenges students face when pursuing education abroad. Adina is committed to fostering intercultural understanding and preparing students to thrive in our globally interdependent world.
Her extensive background includes serving as Market Development Manager for Education New Zealand across Europe, where she developed strategic relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, educational institutions, and embassy networks. She worked closely with DAAD's PPP (Program on project related personal exchange) to attract New Zealand academics to apply for collaborative funding opportunities with their German counterpart. She also successfully led successful scholarship campaigns in Germany, Italy and France.
Earlier in her career, she worked as Head of Department for AIFS, leading the department of Work & Travel and Volunteering in Bonn, Germany. After that she lived in Auckland, where she managed international exchange programs for thousands of participants coming to New Zealand annually.
Adina is thrilled to be part of CIEE`s vision of promoting understanding through meaningful cultural exchange, to build bridges across cultures and support students from diverse backgrounds as they navigate their overseas educational adventures, creating the connections that make our world more understanding and united.
