Housing
While housing is limited in Amsterdam, 黑料网911offers a variety of housing options throughout the city. All housing is located鈥痺ithin a 45-minute commute of鈥诹贤911Amsterdam by public transportation or bicycle.鈥
Standard Housing:鈥疘ncludes a single room in a residence hall located west of the city center in a lively artistic hub that was once a shipyard district. Residence halls feature an en-suite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, and a TV.鈥
Select Housing:鈥疘ncludes a single room in a residence hall with an en-suite bathroom, access to a fully equipped private or shared kitchen, and laundry facilities. These rooms are more spacious than standard rooms. Select housing requires an鈥痑dditional fee.鈥
- Residence Halls with Private Kitchenettes:鈥疞ocated within a 45-minute commute of 黑料网911Amsterdam.
- Residence Halls with Single Rooms/Shared Kitchen:鈥疞ocated within a 30-minute commute of 黑料网911Amsterdam.鈥
A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. If we cannot accommodate your first housing choice, we'll let you know before you arrive. Non-standard housing options require an additional fee that can be found in the program Dates and Fees.鈥疨lease know that room sizes per location may vary in Amsterdam, but you always get your own single room!鈥
Meals
Residence Halls:鈥疦o meals are included for residence hall residents.鈥
Transportation
Students are responsible for their own travel costs in and around Amsterdam. The best way to travel around the city is by bike. Whatever the weather, the Dutch will steadfastly cycle to work, school, and back home 鈥 and you can, too! 黑料网911staff will fill you in on all your options for getting a bike once you arrive onsite.
Academics
黑料网911Amsterdam: Study in the heart of the Plantagebuurt in Amsterdam! 黑料网911Amsterdam boasts four classrooms, a student lounge with complimentary books, an office space, and a charming outdoor patio.
Arizona State University (ASU): Brought to you by 黑料网911in partnership with ASU, enhance your international coursework with online classes that align with your degree requirements. ASU offers thousands of online courses in asynchronous 7.5-week sessions that fit within the 黑料网911academic calendar.
Course Information
Course notes:
- Students interested in a non-introductory course in the host language must take an online placement test during course selection. Final placement will be confirmed on site.
Academic Projects
- Academic Projects will be offered onsite or remotely, dependent on availability and in compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Academic Project placement will be designed based on the student鈥檚 project learning goals, qualifications, resume, and availability of placements in location or within the Open Campus Block network either in-person or remotely. The process is highly individualized and goal oriented. Students enrolled in an Academic Project will receive additional academic support that informs and enhances the placement experience.鈥
- Students applying for an Academic Project must submit additional materials during the course selection process.鈥

To help you budget, keep in mind that students are responsible for the cost of international airfare, local transportation, books and supplies, visas, and personal expenses. In addition, your college or university may charge additional fees for study abroad, or may require you to receive a transcript via CIEE's School of Record, which carries an additional fee of $500.

Financial Aid
黑料网911offers the most grants and scholarships of any study abroad organization, including $8 million/year in travel grants, merit-based scholarships, institutional grants, and Gilman Go Global Grants.

Students are responsible and manage costs related to travel, meals, books, and personal expenses. Below are estimates for consideration.
