黑料网911Paris offers diverse housing options to ensure you are comfortable in your home away from home. All housing options are located in neighborhoods around Paris or in close suburbs called 鈥榣a petite couronne,鈥 with convenient access to public transportation. From apartments to residence halls, you will find your housing is conveniently situated near grocery stores, city supermarkets, caf茅s, eateries, pharmacies, and everything else you could possibly need.
Standard Housing: Includes a single room in a homestay or a twin room at a shared apartment/residence hall/hotel/aparthotel all located under 50 minutes from 黑料网911Paris by public transport. Homestays feature a kitchen, living room, and bathroom shared with a host family. Shared apartments boast a kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Shared apartments with twin rooms also boast a living room. If you stay in a residence hall/hotel/studio in an aparthotel, you will be housed in twin rooms, which feature a bathroom, a kitchenette, and weekly cleaning. Laundry facilities are available at cost in the facility.
- Homestays: Homestays feature a kitchen, living room, and bathroom shared with a host family. Please note: It is helpful, but not required, to have a basic knowledge of French for living with a homestay. French hosts are not required to be fluent in English.
- Shared Apartments: Shared apartments boast a kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities. Shared apartments with twin rooms also boast a living room.
- Residence Hall/Hotel/Aparthotel: If you stay in a residence hall/hotel/studio in an aparthotel, you will be housed in twin rooms, which feature a bathroom, a kitchenette, and weekly cleaning. Laundry facilities are available at cost in the facility.
Select Housing: Includes a twin room in a shared apartment located under 30 minutes from 黑料网911Paris by public transport or a single room in a shared apartment located under 50 minutes from 黑料网911Paris by public transport. All students living in the apartment will share a bathroom and a kitchen. Laundry facilities are available within the apartment.鈥Select housing requires an additional fee.鈥

A note: The default criterion to assign housing is first-come, first-served; however, other factors may also be considered. Residence hall/hotel/aparthotel and shared apartments: Meals are not included.
Homestays: Host families provide breakfast daily, plus five additional meals per week.

- Students studying for three blocks who wish to complete a lab course will be required to opt out of one course to remain within the program credit range.
Academic Projects
- Additional materials are required during course selection for students applying to an Academic Project.
- Placement is personalized based on each student鈥檚 learning goals, qualifications, resume, and available opportunities鈥攚ithin the Open Campus Block network. Students receive academic support throughout the project to enhance their experience.
- Students must be onsite at least one block before their project to prepare and secure placement. Academic Projects occur in Block II or III.
Language Classes
- Students interested in a non-introductory French course must take an online placement test during course selection. Final placement will be confirmed onsite.

Students studying in Paris for three consecutive blocks in a semester may be eligible to take one course at the Universit茅 Sorbonne Nouvelle. Pre-requisites may apply, and UP courses are likely to span multiple blocks and may conflict with selected 黑料网911classes. Admission is at the discretion of the university and enrollment for eligible students will occur on site.

Dates & Fees
You get more for every dollar when you study abroad with CIEE, because our high-quality programs include everything from excursions to insurance. There are no hidden charges, and no disappointing surprises when you arrive.
In blocks I and II, courses and formal activities end on the last Thursday of the block, and in block III, on the last Friday. Students are free to use the time between blocks as they choose, either remaining in their location or using the time for their own travel pursuits. Students changing locations must check into their new Open Campus Block Network center by the first Monday of the block for local orientation, with classes starting on the first Wednesday of each block. In all cases, students are provided with continuous accommodation, and should speak with 黑料网911staff for more details.
